ALL ABOUT ME

There are a few reasons why I've decided to pursue this service opportunity. Most importantly, I love Jesus and I want people to see and know how gracious, good, and faithful God is. Additionally, the past 2 summers I've served at Young Life camps (YL is a Christian organization designed to build relationships with high schoolers and show them Christ) and I fell in love with the work I did there. I've never experienced such fulfilling community, deep joy while doing hard work, and authentic worship. My desire to do something purposeful with a gap year grew from all I experienced at those camps. I have always loved traveling and getting to experience new cultures and traditions, so this program seemed like a perfect place for me to grow in my faith.
