God has been so good. In the midst of traveling, adjusting to a new place, learning lots of information, and meeting my team, God has been gracious and so kind. I couldn’t be more excited for the adventures and work to come.
A quick recap: On Thursday, I flew to Orlando and was picked up by my team at the airport. We got lunch, picked up the rental car, moved into our apartment, then grocery shopped. Friday was a full day at Cru HQ getting an overview of what the next month will look like, learning the buildings and missions Cru has going on, and working as a team to decide how we want our year to look. This weekend has been a time of rest and fellowship. We are a group that loves to laugh and that has been such a blessing.
Godsends of the week (When I worked with Young Life two summers ago we would identify ‘Godsends’ or little blessings in our lives that felt like a gift when we received it. They can seem small but are a reminder to be grateful for where I am and intentionally look for goodness): Getting a guitar that last year’s team used, buying flowers, Chex Mix in the Cru office, and receiving sweet messages as I’ve made this transition.
Prayer Requests:
finalizing financial support for the team (Some of our team still needs to raise money- if you’d like to support me any excess can help them!)
Eager minds and hearts as we learn
Strong team dynamic and unity
Safety for our leader, Addison, as she’ll be joining us in just over a week
Rejoicing,
Julianne
I am so blessed, so excited, and so encouraged to be alongside such women of faith. (Pictured from left to right: Kamise, Maja, Megan, and Me!)
Morning Peaches, starting to learn what a “Blog” is, looking forward to following what our lord has planned for y’all. Psalm 121. Hugs, Grandpa W.
